Giving voice to women who make science happen

Breaking away from traditional academic formats, Voix de chercheuses (“Voices of Women Scientists”) amplifies the voices of women researchers at the CEA. In these episodes, they share their journeys, discoveries, doubts, and moments of joy—revealing a more personal, human side of scientific research.

From the James Webb Space Telescope to climate modeling, from particle physics to science communication, these stories immerse listeners in the diversity of fields explored within the CEA. Blending lab anecdotes with reflections on the craft of research, the series paints a portrait of science as living, curious, and constantly evolving.

A recognition of shared knowledge

By joining Savoirs+, the CEA reaffirms its commitment to making scientific knowledge accessible to everyone, while celebrating the diversity of voices and career paths within public research. This presence alongside major cultural and academic institutions underscores the CEA’s dedication to sharing knowledge and fostering openness toward society.

The first five episodes of “Voix de chercheuses – La Cerise dans le Labo!” (“The Cherry in the Lab!”) are now available on Savoirs+, Radio France’s podcast platform curated by France Culture.

The CEA joins Savoirs+, the platform created by France Culture and accessible via the Radio France app, with its podcast series “Voix de chercheuses – La Cerise dans le Labo!”. This label brings together over twenty major research and cultural institutions—including the Collège de France, the BnF, the Louvre, and the Centre Pompidou—united by a shared ambition: to make knowledge accessible to all.
