Biomedicalengineer Swati Banerjee probes brain’s frugal sensory processing “algorithms”
Our brains take in in a much larger number of sensory inputs than they need to understand the world around us. Indian-born biomedicalengineer Swati Banerjee won a three-year Science Impulse fellowship to gain new insights into how the brain processes these inputs to rapidly make second-to-second decisions.
