Bio-engineer - Vascularized Organoids on a Chip

Job description: CEA-LETI is hiring a bioengineer on a 18-month fixed-term contract to join an applied research project in bioengineering The project aims to develop vascularized organoids and integrate them into innovative microfluidic devices. This work is part of a broader technological research initiative focused on “organ on chip” platforms, within a multidisciplinary environment. The selected candidate will contribute to the development and biological integration of a vascularized organoid model within a microfluidic system. They will work primarily in the laboratory, closely with engineers specializing in sensors, microfluidics, and microfabrication. Tasks will include: • Cell culture and development of biological models suitable for chip integration, • Adaptation and optimization of experimental protocols in a microfluidic environment, • Participation in functional testing and biological characterization, • Collaboration with technical teams to support technological developments (chip design, sensor integration, automation), • Contribution to data analysis and valorization of results (team meetings, internal presentations).

Institute description: The multidisciplinary team of the Microfluidic Systems and Bioengineering research Laboratory (LSMB) designs and sets up microfluidic systems for biology and health applications.

Your profile: Après avoir obtenu un Master, un diplôme d'ingénieur ou un Doctorat en biologie, bio-ingénierie ou équivalent, vous bénéficiez d'une expérience pratique en culture cellulaire, biologie cellulaire et/ou tissulaire avec une connaissance ou un intérêt pour les environnements microfluidiques. Vous manifestez un goût prononcé pour l'expérimentation. Vous faites preuve de rigueur, de sens de l'observation et d'autonomie. Vous avez une aptitude au travail en équipe dans un environnement multidisciplinaire. Vous êtes à l'aise en anglais à l'écrit comme à l'oral. Ces critères correspondent à votre profil ?
